The 57th running of the Ducan F. Kenner for $200,000 at Fair Grounds on Saturday featured yet another victory for Euroears, who is now 6 for 6 lifetime. The 4 year old son of Langfuhr is rapidly becoming one of the best sprinters in the nation, having won now in 3 straight stakes victory.
Trained by Bret Calhoun, Euroears used a smooth trip stalking just behind the early pacesetter, Semaphore Man, before moving past him in the stretch and opening up a 3 1/4 length victory. The colt covered the covered the 6 furlong distance of the Duncan F. Kenner in 1:09.2.
Euroears returned $4.60 for the win. Semaphore Man finished 2nd to return a $14.80 exacta. Noonmark rounded out the $30.60 trifecta with show honors.
