Mike - you're kidding me??? You'd never told me that before (that I can remember). Wow.....you got to pick him in his maiden race! I wasn't aware of him until his allowance victory. The closest thing I have to that experience was picking Zenyatta in her debut.

Amy - yup, babe...and tomorrow is the Alibi breakfast. With a little luck maybe we'll even meet team Curlin/Rachel!

Brian - I totally missed that as I was focused on work during the week, but thanks a million for calling my attention to his win. I had a feeling he was rounding into form quite nicely. Winning by 15 lengths....man that makes my heart sing. Way to go, Nic!!!!!!

I know you are a big fan of Curlin. Let me tell you something here. I don't think I ever mentioned it before.

I had got the past performances one day just as practice for some races. This horse called "Curlin" was in a md spt wt race. He never raced before yet. His workouts were amazing though. They were like 46 or 45 seconds for the 4f works. I don't remember the exact times. I figured this horse might be special. He won and paid quite a bit of money in his first race out. It was total luck I had got the paper that day.

People don't pay attention to the extremely fast works from a first starter a lot of the time. You know by the works weather you got a good horse or not before they even race.
