Hey Kev;

Love the Derby Ranking Chart! I’ve been real busy… sorry this is my first comment of 2011. My GQ’s Derby Double Dozen was published on Feb. 10th. Disappointed that you have no love for my #1 (Santiva).

Totally agree with you that The Factor, won’t be one come the 1st Saturday in May. In the Rebel it will be void of legit early speed, so he MIGHT be able to last the 8.5 furlongs… but I doubt it… Sway Away all the way!!!

I’m rooting for your “Curlin Forever” stable! :) Anything Curlin and I’m 100% on board, he will still always be my favorite!

Gary – I do like Santiva and met to list him on the chart. I think he’s a major player in the LA Derby if he goes there (not sure why the connections were thinking about the Bluegrass- other than the Grade 1 money of course). With The Factor – I’m kind of shocked they didn’t go to the Swale Stakes and keep him at a more reasonable distance. Obviously Baffert knows what he’s doing, but I just don’t see that horse getting the distance without a comfortable lead early on.

Brian – “Curlin Forever” has both Sway Away and Alternation going today. “Bieber” has ArchArchArch, Elite Alex, and Sway Away. I’ve only got Sway Away in my stable in the TBA League, so he’s the common theme. With a little luck, it’s possible I could be in first by the end of the day as the stables ahead of me were a bit more front-loaded than I was (although some do have Sway Away).

OK I’m checking in. I had looked earlier this year, and it appeared there were not new postings but glad I checked back. I’ll be up to speed asap. Glad you’re up and running Kevin. I’ve tried other sites, but I’m more familiar with yours. Spring awakes again with our prescious horses.
