Kevin: I just found your great site. Keep it up please. Like you and your wife, my wife and I went to the tracks[Aqueduct and Belmont] before we were married. We had a blast. Almost lost our shirts a few times but it was worth it.Our favorite horse; Buckpasser. He was majestic.Actually we saw many of the greats, but Buckpasser was ours so to speak. I used to go to the track and bet horsesthat looked good. Didn't do too well. And then, one night, my future father in law taught me how to read the Racing Form. I went home that night feeling empowered. After all, with all the information in the Form, how could I lose? in fact, why even work?Of course, you know how I wound up. Kevin, I wouldn't trade those days for anything. What great fun.Years have been very good to us beautiful kids and grandkids. I guess we are the happiest people we know.. I am going to check this site regularly Thanks and good luck

Don, Odysseus, the horse was foaled and rasied on my farm. I so enjoyed reading your stories and love that you were cheering for him! It was very sad to see him get injured but he will live to fight another day!!

Kevin, Stumbled on your site today while passing time during current snow/ice storm here in Oklahoma. I like your site as I am a race horse lover. I have a stallion I stand here in Ok his name is Lendell Ray, he won Jersey Derby and Lamplighter at Monmouth setting a new stks record in Lamplighter. He was 2nd in Crown Royal American Trf Sks at Churchill and Transylvania Sks at Keenland. Trained by Bill Mott and ridden by McCarrens, Bailey, and Gryder. He broke down in the Lamplighter and I purchased him to breed my mares to. So far 2 starters 1 winner in 2009 (the winner had 2 wins and 1 2nd and was winning her next race slabed her knee and had to be put down...my normal luck. My luck in handicapping is even worse so I try and just bet on my horses when they run. I've had prettyl good horses through the years...no stks winners just nice allowance and claimers but I still enjoy it...maybe in the future. I'll keep in touch with your site.
