Chester Today

15.35. DEE EX BEE was finishing well @ Epsom over 10.1 furlongs today this tight track and the extra 2 furlongs and a few yards could see improvement in what Timeform describe as an attractive colt. If you are going to bet a Mark Johnston horse I always feel the best ploy for his horses are up with the pace or even front running. The big problem we face in this race has to be the fact that Aidan O'Brien targets this race, in fact he has won 8 of the last 11 running's of the race, add to these stats that he has won 6 of the last 7 running's of this race and he has won the last 5 running's of this race. That stat will take some beating and maybe we should all just lump on Hunting Horn with Ryan Moore on who has also won the last 5 running's here. I prefer to complicate things, that would be a cop out quite honestly, if Hunting Horn wins good luck. I will stick to my selection in the belief that he will see this trip out well and can push everything in this field very hard. DEE EX BEE

16.35 BUNGEE JUMP. I actually have three horses on my tracker for this race, Requinto Dawn and Excellent Times. I have decided to not bet any horses under 7/1 that will be my regime, it may be fool hardy long term and quite testing for the mind, I have decided though this will be the plan this summer. Bungee Jump ran well @ Bath and was completely unconsidered in the betting, this is a far tougher assignment and this is reflected in the betting. On known form Requinto Dawn looks better, in fact a few look better but I will stick with BUNGEE JUMP.

17.05 ROARING FORTIES. This is a leap of faith, I have this horse marked up on the Doncaster run only, the last run was horrible, the form looks poor, but could it be that 6f was just completely wrong? Lets give him a chance to show he is better than that form.ROARING FORTIES.
